BREAL Group bolsters aerospace presence with acquisition of Silcoms

BREAL Group, the multi-disciplinary equity and advisory services group, has acquired Silcoms, a niche supplier of complex aero-engine ring components and assemblies. Silcoms will join BREAL Group portfolio company Beagle Technology Group, as part of a buy and build strategy within the aerospace sector.
Silcoms expertise covers a wide range of precision-engineered parts, including seals, shrouds, segments, and casings, produced from high-performance materials such as nickel-based superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, and aluminium.
Silcoms was founded in 1939 as BY & J Silcoms, with over 80 years of manufacturing expertise in Aerospace parts, chains and components. With a commitment to invest in future innovation through leading edge research and technology, Silcoms continues to serve leading aerospace companies, including Rolls-Royce, Siemens Energy, Spirit AeroSystems and Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
