Criteria

BREAL CAPITAL typically focuses on UK-headquartered businesses, in the manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, support services and retail sectors. However, we will consider opportunities in established businesses across most sectors.

We will acquire businesses being sold as non-core, retirement and also back experienced management teams that have a clear vision and a realistic plan to achieve their goals. We will always be interested in adding complementary businesses to our existing portfolio companies. We meet challenges with creativity, and operate with pragmatism, passion and perspective:

  • UK small to mid-market companies with investment and funding requirements of £500,000 to £35,000,000 experiencing or requiring change;
  • Event-driven scenarios, such as acquisitions, refinancing, turnaround and rescue, seasonal demands, growth and expansion, restructuring and capital reshape.
